At Horse Riding Hot Shop, we take pride in providing premium equestrian equipment to riders worldwide. While we carefully inspect all items before shipping, we understand that sometimes products need to be returned or exchanged. Please review our policy below to ensure a smooth process.

Our Return Policy

We accept returns within 15 days of receiving your order. To be eligible for a return:

  • Items must be unused, in original packaging with all tags attached
  • Proof of purchase is required
  • Certain items marked as non-returnable are excluded (see below)

Non-Returnable Items

For health and safety reasons, the following products cannot be returned:

  • Horse Feed and Treats
  • Horse Licks and Supplements
  • Horse Fly Control products
  • Personal protective equipment (riding helmets, body protectors) with removed tags or signs of use

Custom or special order items may also be non-returnable unless defective.

How to Initiate a Return or Exchange

Step 1: Contact Our Team

  • Your order number
  • Product name and reason for return
  • Whether you prefer a refund or exchange
  • Photos of any damaged/defective items (if applicable)

Step 2: Wait for Approval

Our equestrian specialists will review your request within 1-2 business days and email you:

  • Return authorization (if approved)
  • Return shipping instructions
  • Any special handling notes for equestrian equipment

Step 3: Ship Your Return

Once approved, package the item securely in its original packaging and include all accessories. Ship to:

Step 4: Receive Your Refund or Exchange

Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll process your request:

  • Exchanges: Shipped via your preferred method (shipping charges may apply)

Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive a damaged or defective equestrian product:

  1. Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
  2. Include photos clearly showing the damage
  3. We’ll arrange for a replacement or refund and may provide a return shipping label

International Returns

For our global customers outside the U.S.:

  • Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility
  • Mark the package as “Returned Goods” to avoid customs fees
  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable
  • Refunds will be issued in USD and may vary based on exchange rates
